Guidelines for students

The procedure for preparing for the practical class

• Go to the apropriate bloc of the сomplex
• Read the name of the topic
• Read сontent questions
• Open the topic  lecture (self work) and read all pages (until you get a message "end of lecture reached"). Pay attention! Lecture (self work) is assessed and affects the rating. The number of attempts is not limited. Attempt time is not limited. The resulting grade is the highest attempt. A positive grade of the self work is required to obtain the credit
• Open the links to each practical skill of the topic and learn a order of their performance (recommended standard)
• Prepare your appearance for class. Pay attention! Your rating will be reduced if you do not follow the appearance rules.
  • should not be jewelry on the hands, nails should have a length that does not impede medical manipulations
  • In class you must have:
    • medical gown and / or medical (surgical) suit
    • hat or scarf
    • medical mask
    • non-sterile medical gloves
    • change shoes
    • badge

 Practical class work

• Arrive at the Center 5-10 minutes before class. Pay attention! Being late for class reduces the rating!
• Change clothes, prepare your appearance in accordance with the requirements. It is allowed to use any electronic information devices in the classroom: laptops, e-book readers, tablets, smartphones.
• At the beginning of the class, ask the teacher questions that you did not understand yourself
• When a teacher demonstrates a practical skill, wath carefully of teacher's actions, if necessary, ask him or her about the repetition of the demonstration
• During the time for self training, work actively and hard. Pay attention! Time for a practical skill traning during class is extremely limited. Repeatedly perform the elements of a practical skill, achieving a full practical skills mastering. If you is in doubt about the correct performance of some elements, demonstrate these elements to the teacher, correct your actions after his (her) instructions.
• If you during the lesson were not able to master a practical skill, continue the traning during consultations at the Center during extracurricular time: see the Schedule of consultations.
• Pay attention!  A positive grade of each practical skill (positive grade of each topic) is required to obtain the credit

Self work (self training)

• If necessary, you can take a additional practical skill training at the Center (see the consultation shedul).
• Members of the laboratory of professional workmanship "Simulative trainings in medicine" can train on an individual schedule
